Alex is an associate lawyer at Lenkinski Law and joined the firm in January 2014. She is developing a broad practice in all aspects of family law and routinely provides clients with advice regarding custody and access, support, property division, marriage contracts, cohabitation agreements, divorce and inter-jurisdictional family law issues. Alex has appeared as counsel in the Ontario Court of Justice, the Superior Court of Justice, the Ontario Court of Appeal, and in a Public Inquiry.
Prior to joining Lenkinski Law, Alex practiced civil, commercial, class action and public litigation at the boutique litigation firm where she articled. In 2013, Alex was co-counsel for the Elliot Lake Mall Action Committee in the Elliot Lake Public Inquiry.

Alex is a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada, the Advocate’s Society, the Family Law Section of the Ontario Bar Association, and the Canadian Bar Association. She sat on the Young Advocate’s Standing Committee of the Advocates Society for the 2011 to 2013 term.
Alex is a current participant in the Child Advocacy Project where she represents families whose children face challenges to their rights in school. She is also an active volunteer with the Dr. Jay Children’s Grief Centre.
During law school, Alex was active in the University Of Western Ontario’s student legal aid clinic, where she volunteered as a case-worker. She also wrote a series of public education articles for the student newsletter about access to justice with Pro Bono Students Canada.
